Testimonials
Traveling to Tibet over land was a true adventure between mud-clogged mountain roads and the broad Tibetan plains. Gyalwa, our guide was passionate about his motherland and always eager to please while our driver proved to be wonderful entertainment as he sang for hours with music from the Landcruiser playing in the background. The two of them took care to show us sites off the beaten track including their home towns, even inviting us to spend an hour in the farmhouse of a relative to experience typical, generous Tibetan hospitality and drink a bottomless cup of yak butter milk tea. The sites and people of Tibet were a true joy to experience and Friendship Nepal did a good job of connecting us with native Tibetan guides that were competent and resourceful. - Bruce Masterson & Jessica Bell-Masterson
