Australian camp Trek is one of the short poupulst trekking routs in Annapurna region. The trek starts from Dhampus. australian base camp trekThe elevation does not reach over 2000 meter so its easy family trekking. Weather along the trek is quite warm except in December and January. Snow is not expected. The trail is very much used by local people and traders. Teashops dotted all along the trail make the walk interesting. The famous Machhapuchare peak (Mateerhorn of Nepal) can always be seen from any point on this trek. You will also have an opportunity for a close look at the daily lives of the villagers of the ethnic Gurung people. Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1340m)
Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara (850m).Evening boating at Fewa Lake.
Day 04: Drive to Phedi & ttrek to Australian Camp (2000m) via Dhampus O3/04 hours walk.
Day 05: Dhampus to Sarangkot (1592m). 06 hours walk.
Day 06: Sarangkot to Pokhara. Afternoon sightseeing tour in pokhara.
Day 07: Drive/Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 08: Departure from Kathmandu.
