Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Zhangmu or Nyalam.
O/n in hotel
Day 02: Drive Zhangmu or Nyalam
to Peiku Tsuo (180 km). O/n camping.
Day 03: Drive Peiku Tsuo to
Saga (110 km). O/n in guesthouse.
Day 04: SAGA-PARYANG (4,700m)
255 km: 7hrs
Another day’s driving will take you 255km to Paryang (15,700 feet
or 4,750 m) in the heart of western Tibet, where the four great
rivers of south Asia diverge from their glacial sources around
Mount Kalaish. En route you will pass through the village of Zhongba.

Day 05: Drive PARYANG-MANASAROVAR
LAKE-DARCHEN (255 km)
Driving on rugged roads to Darchen (15,150 feet or 4,620m) enjoy
view of Mount Kalaish, lake of manasarovar and an uninterrupted
view of the Himalayas Bordering India and Nepal en route. The
windblown settlement of Darchen is the Pilgrim’s gate way to mount
Kalaish. Here you will prepare for next day’s trekking. O/n in
hotel or camping.
Day 06: DARCHEN/KALAISH TREK
(Kailash Kora)
The pilgrim’s kora around Mount Kalaish starts and finishes in
Darchen, on the first
You will trek 6 hours from Darchen to Dhira phuk (16,450feet or
5,010m) and camp at the Gompa there near the backside of holy
mount Kalaish where you can see beautiful view of Kalaish. O/n
camping.
Day 07: DHIRA PHUK-DZUTRUL PHUK
(Kailash Kora)
Today you will trek 6-7hours from Dhira phuk to Dzutrul phuk (15,700feet
or 4,790m) You will leave the Lhachu valley and enter the Dorma
chu valley, heading up towards a high pass above the Gaurikund
lake or Tuje Dzingbu (the bathing pool of compassion) which is
one of the highest lakes in the world. Hindu pilgrim’s are Supposed
to take a ritual bath here. O/n camping at the Dzutrul phuk.
Day 08: DZUTRUL PHUK/DARCHEN
(Kailash Kora)
Today you will finish the kora with a 4-5 hours trek from Dzutrul
phuk back to Darchen, You will across several streams and follow
an impressive gorge on this trip. Along the way we are once again
treated to magnificent views of Mt Kalaish. Afternoon drive to
lake and camp near the lake. O/n camping
Day 09: Full day rest or explore
the lake Manasarovar. O/n camping
Day 10: Departure from lake
and drive 300km back to Paryang. O/n camping
Day 11: Drive Paryang to Saga
(255 km). O/n camping.
Day 12: Drive Saga to Peiku
Tsuo (110km). Leave Saga, cross the Yarlung Tsangpo river by ferry.
camp near the Peiku Tsuo with good view of Shishapangma (8013m).
O/n in hotel.
Day 13: Drive Peiku Tsuo to
Nyalam (150 km). O/n in hotel.
Day 14: Drive Nyalam to Zhangmu-Kodari
border (38 km): Departure to Nepal. Drive Kodari to Kathmandu.
