| Zhangmu- Lhasa-Nyintri-Pome-Chamdo-Nagchu-Lhasa
Day 01: Drive Zhangmu-Kodari
to Nyalam (38 km). O/n at hotel.
Day
02: Drive Nyalam to Lhatse (300 km), through the beautiful
landscape and crossing over the Nyalam pass (3,800m) and Lalungla
pass (5,050m) with breathtaking close up view of Mt. XISHAPAGMA
(8,212m) and other peaks above 8000 m high can be seen. From the
pass decent is down to the plateau of Tingri which takes about
2 hours, then another 4 hours driving would take you to Lhatse.

Day 03: Drive Lhatse to Shigatse
(180 km) via visiting Sakya monastery, which is 30 km from the
main of friendship highway. O/n at hotel.
Day 04: Morning visit the famous
Gelugpa monastery Tashilunpo, which is the seat of the Panchen
Lama. Afternoon drive to Gyangtse. O/n at hotel.
Day 05: Morning visit PHALKOR
& KUMBUM monastery, then afternoon drive to Lhasa (270km)
and crossing over high passes like KAROLA (5,010m) & KAMBALA
(4,794m) via YAMDROK LAKE (TORQUISE LAKE) and the Tibetan lifeline
river YARLUNG TSANGPO (BRAHMA PURTA). O/n at hotel.
Day 06-07: SIGHTSEEING IN LHASA
(3,600m)
Full day sightseeing tour of Lhasa; POTALA PALACE, JOKHANG TEMPLE,
BARKHOR BAZZAR, DREPUNG & SERA MONASTERY. O/n at hotel.
Day 08: Drive Lhasa to Draksumtso
(206 km) via small town of Kongpo Gyamda 127-km north of Bayi
and 206 km northeast of Lhasa. This is an area of stunning natural
beauty of forests and clear running streams abound, and there
are incredible lakes, epitomized by the Island Lake of Draksum
tso. O/n at hotel.
Day 09: Drive Draktsum tso to
127-km northeast of Kongpo Bayi. Kongpo is the name given to the
Nyangchu River and the area of the Brahmaputra into which flows
extending from the high Mamzhong La pass (5,000meters) west of
Gyamda to Menling in the south west of and the massive snow peaks
of Namchak Barva and Gyala Pelri in the southeast. O/n at guesthouse.
Day 10: Drive Bayi to Pome (230
km) crossing over the Serkhyen La pass (4,700m) into the flowering
Rongchu valley. There are spectacular views of mount Namcha Bawa
(7,756 m) and Mt. Gyala pelri (7,150 m) to east and northeast
respectively. O/n at guesthouse.
Day 11: Drive Pome 200 km to
Basho (200 km) the highway from POME to BASHO continues to follow
the PARLUNG Tsangpo up stream through alpine forests landscape.
Day 12: Drive Basho to Chamdo
(245 km), which straddles the Mekong at the point where its Ngonchu
and Dzachu branches converge. It may also refer to Chamdo District.

Day 13: The highway from Chamdo
to Rewoche is (105km), follow the Dzachu down stream to the farming
village via Yikdruk La pass (4,498 m) and Trugu la pass (4,688m).

Day 14: Drive Rewoche to Dinqing
(145 km) on the decent from Shel La pass, the road enters the
Khyungpo district of Kham, where the Bon tradition predominates.
Day 15: Drive Dinqing to Sokxian
(271 km) crossing over the Gang La pass (4,811m)
which forms a watershed between the shakchu and sok-chu. A second
slightly lower Double pass named shara la (4,744 m). O/n at guesthouse
Day 16: Drive Sokxian to Nakqu
(210 km), which is located on the Ziling to Lhasa Highway 350-km
northeast of Lhasa. O/n at hotel.
Day 17: Drive Nakqu to Namtso
lake (240 km), which is the highest lake, it has an altitude of
4718m with a depth of 33 meters. It covers an area of about 1,920
square km, 70 km from east to west and 30 km from south to north.
It is one of the three famous holy lakes in Tibet. O/n camping.
Day 18: Drive Namtso to Lhasa
(250 km) via visiting Yangbachen hot spring. O/n at hotel.
Day 19: Transfer to Lhasa airport
for your flight to Chengdu or your next destination.
