tour takes you right across the country along the lateral highway
and gives you glimpses of ethnic groups of Drukpas different in
their dialects and customs. It offers you maximum coverage of
the country.
ITINERARY
Day 01: Fly Paro, transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing at Paro.
Day 03: Visit to Tiger nest.
Day 04: Drive to Thimphu, after noon sightseeing.
Day 05: Morning sightseeing. After lunch drive to Punakha
over Dochula Pass.
Day 06: After sightseeing of Punkha Dzong, drive to Tongsa
for about for about 4 hours.
Day 07: Morning a visit the Tongsa Dzong and a short walk
to the Ta-Dzong (Watch Tower) with some leisure time in Tongsa
Bazaar. After 3 hours drive to Bumtang Valley across the Yotongla
Pass.
Day 08: Sightseeing of Kurji, Tamshing,
Kanchusum Lhaagang, Jakar Dzong and Chamkha Bazaar.
Day 09: Morning drive to Sengor, enroute see membertso
(The burning lake) and proceed to Ura Valley. Visit Ura Lhakang
over night at rest house.
Day 10: Drive to Mongar. Sightseeing of
Mongar Dzong and bazaar. over night at Rest House.
Day 11: Drive over Korila passes to Tashigang. Sightseeing
of Tashigang Dzong and bazaar. over night at Rest House.
Day 12: Excursion drives Tashi Yangtse
and Gom Kora Temple. over night at Rest House.
Day 13: Drive to Samdrup Dzongkha. On the way visit Kanglung
College (The only college in Bhutan) Zgang to Pelri and Khaling
to see traditional weaving center. over night at Rest House.
Day 14: After breakfast drive to Gauhati
(India) for departure to fly to Kathmandu
